Christopher Jue is an editorial and commercial photographer based in Tokyo, Japan. He works with various newspapers and magazines, full service agencies, news agencies, television networks and small to multinational corporations on fulfilling the demand for unique visual content in studio and on location.
In 2011, Christopher held his first solo photo exhibition called “TOKYO INSPIRATION” in downtown Tokyo.
Currently his time is split between Tokyo, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
On the flip side of things, Christopher is into technology, social media, digital marketing, taking risks, skateboarding, cars, airports, flying at 30,000 ft, coffee and delicious food that you would find on a street corner in Seoul or Hong Kong. You may be able to find him at a city near you.
A few words from what others have to say:
Chris did an amazing job for our corporate photography project. He was extremely professional from the get go, and captured everything we were looking for in our photos. Chris is a very talented photographer, and we are so happy to have had the chance to work with him.
I have only worked once with Chris, but the experience was a very positive one. He turned up at short notice to photograph an interview subject who was obviously averse to having his picture taken. Chris made the best of a difficult situation, and with hardly any time available, produced a portrait which we were glad to run in The Times. He was prompt, obliging, and a pleasure to deal with.
Your images during the Japan March 11 Earthquake and Tsunami coverage were first class.
Fast, reliable, and works extremely well under pressure, especially with the tight deadline I had. So good that my story with his photos made it on the front page of my newspaper.
Christopher is a fine and reliable photographer to work with. He delivered us perfect images for our Dutch gymnastic magazine Turnsupporter. The work was bases on a emailed briefing for the World Championship Artistic Gymnastics in 2010 in Tokyo. The images gave the feeling like you were there.
Top qualities: Great Results, Personable, High Integrity. Christopher served as my photographer at the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan’s Annual Charity Ball in December 2009 and 2010. He is one of the best photographers I have ever worked with. Christopher is professional, detail oriented and is very personable, all qualities necessary to handle the photography for an event of over 300 people. I recommend him highly.”
